Our fire fighter Brody and his trusty Dalmation puppy Briggs. What a duo? Prior to "trunk or treating" we went by the fire station for a few photos. The boys thought this was cool stuff. They sat in the drivers seat of the fire truck. We had a fun visit and are were very grateful for the nice gentleman to allow us to stop by.

We caught up with Super Girl, Lexi at "trunk or treat".

My Farm Boys

This photo session was inspired by our up and coming move to the family farm. As you can see, the boys are right at home on my parents' farm and would stay there if we allowed it. We are ready to display our handsome boys in our new home and needed the "over the mantle" shot....I think we got it! I realize after looking at a photograph like this of my boys just how much they are growing. And to capture a photograph of them actually looking at me....we had to pull out all the tricks! God is good!

We can hardly believe Briggs is two. He enjoys cars, trains, and planes....so a train party it is. It is amazing to watch him grow more independent...our little one has his own ideas! His favorite phrases are "my do it myself" and "my did it". What a joy!

Back To School

On The Move...With Corban

The rain stopped, the cars came out and Corban was one cool dude on this photo shoot. Corban's neighbor was gracious enough to let us enjoy these awesome cars....and enjoy them we did. Sometimes boy's don't like to get there pictures made (so they say) but when you get to test drive a few cool rides....it's not so bad. What a fun day....what a handsome young man! I can't believe I once photographed Corban as I stood still in our back yard and attempted to catch photographs of him as he ran by me.....ha!

First Trip To Walt Disney World

Dana and I took the boys to Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom Lodge on vacation. We had a great time. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and visited Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney and Sea World. I think the boys had a good time and we will definitely be visiting again. We love our boys!

Easter Morning In Mississippi

Our family enjoyed a perfect Easter morning with Dana's family in MS. Of course, the boys were thrilled with an early morning photo shoot outside the church. They are funny at this age. When they get close they want to wrestle and when they separate....they divide and conquer as we chase them. I have to think of these pictures and laugh as they look so handsome and sweet...in actuality there were two crazed parents and one loving Nana chasing two Easter rabbits outside the church!!!

The Egg Hunt

The boys enjoyed a great egg hunt....and the chocolate surprises. When I was this age I hunted eggs for eggs but now the eggs keep on giving! I sorta enjoy the surprises too!

Wildwood Stables

Brody and I had a wonderful day at Wildwood Stables...our first school field trip. Brody surpised me again with his "rodeo" skills and I am certainly glad they didn't sadle one for Dad. I just might have a few rodeo skills myself!

Trick or Treat - Team Roping Style

Every good cowboy needs a good trusty horse! Of course, Brody was a cowboy and it was only natural for Briggs to be the horse for Halloween. Briggs entertained everyone with a giant "Neigh" to distract the candy givers while Brody moved in for another chocolate surprise. This is team roping at it's finest!!! Thanks to our family and friends for a Happy Halloween.

Graduation on Friday....BIG School on Monday!

Brody turned 3 on Friday, graduated and attended his first day at BIG school on Monday. I think he is doing fine but his Mom and Dad are wondering what just happened. Should it be ok if the book bag is bigger than your little one???? I think that if this occurs you should be able to re-evaluate. It amazes me that it has been three years since we began the journey of parenthood...which means I haven't slept in three years! But what is sleep when you have this much joy?

Father's Day is a wonderful time to reflect on being a Dad and acknowledging the responsibility I now have to raise my boys to be good men that serve our heavenly Father. We all enjoy the farm so it was a great opportunity to capture a Father's Day picture at our favorite place. I am honored to be able to have this picture with my Dad and my handsome sons. God has blessed me and I am thankful.

What a wonderful Fall day for the Apple Festival. Devin, Lexi, Brody and Briggs posed for a few pictures and then it was off for fun. We had a great time visiting with friends, eating and playing. We love the Fall season. Unfortunately, we left the festival without eating or buying apples and where was the apple butter? I suppose I spent more time at the playground than the food section….how things change when you have children. It was the best.

We had a wonderful day in MS celebrating Brett and Ellie's wedding day. They had great weather and truly a special day. I captured a few pictures but not to interupt the flow of the photographers doing the wedding. I can't wait to see all the pictures they took...they seemed to have as much fun as Brett and Ellie. I really liked there style of photography. I will try to link the photos if I can once they are ready. Brody did a wonderful job as the ring bearer. He was escorted by two little girls who took good care of him....what a little man!
